Ferrari California is a superb model from the company. I personally like this model very much for its exceptional features. There are several things I like about it but I particularly find the gearbox very convenient. Ferrari cars always contain a distinctive gearbox.
This model consist dual clutch transmission having seven gears. Steering wheel used here contains the old F1 controls. The gearbox is innovatively designed to provide higher performances besides giving better comfort while driving. It has got more efficiency and needs less maintenance.
Dual clutch used here allows the even and odd gears to be independently controlled and can be pre-selected also. Due to this, gear change happens in near zero times. Moreover, wheel torque is also not interrupted.
It eliminates the acceleration gap and you get a thrilling experience while driving due to enhanced performance. This model is also suitable for daily requirements and city purpose use.
Fuel consumption and its conservation are of prime concern for the automotive world. It is a well known fact that the available natural fuel won’t last for long. Taking this into consideration almost all car manufacturers are tweaking their metal babies to work on alternate fuel as well bringing the concept of hybrid car to reality. Lexus, one of the luxury car manufacturers, on the same footsteps has introduced the CT200h to compete in the small hatchback cars segment.
The Lexus CT200h is a compact hybrid electric car that runs on the usual liquid fuel and also on electric power when required giving it an edge over competition to scale up to 43 miles per gallon of fuel. It has also been studded with features like stability control for the vehicle and eight air bags to protect the passengers from an injury during an unexpected collision.
Needless to say, it being a product from a luxury car manufacturer will be rejigged with high end accessories like a six speaker audio system, Bluetooth for mobile connectivity and automatic climate control.
Of course, products from luxury vehicle manufacturers are much awaited and sought after. But it also takes some effort from the company’s perspective to make the targeted audience aware of all the features of the newly launched product. International motor shows, press conferences are some instances where the desired publicity for the vehicle can be garnered.
Lexus, albeit has gone a step further to mark the launch of the CT200 in United Kingdom by roping in the Australian pop sensation, Kylie through Kylie drumming Lexus CT car advert. It has also made arrangements to be one of the prestigious sponsors for her world tour in the United Kingdom.
Overall Lexus does offer all the amenities for the price it commands and with a voucher like Kylie it is bound to make it big in the automotive market as well.
